I'm trying to get a CM'ed checkin of uClinux.
To that end, I want to check in the distribution, patches, and my own configuration files. CM will take the baselined uClinux tarball, apply patches to it, then apply my configuration to that and build it.

With linux, I can stash off my .config file; then I can restore the .config file to a baseline and "make oldconfig", then "make".

What are the steps necessary to do this with uClinux?
Or is it Just Not Worth All The Pain (tm) ?

I keep going one step further, and that not being enough.

What I'm after is complete scriptability, with no interactiion. I don't want to check in binaries.

Ideas?
