Hi Steven,Attached is the changes I made for a coldfire 5282. It has two I2c devices -
RTC and EEPROM.This patch works for them. My patch applies to uClinux-dist-20090618-20091129.patch set.
Can you look into this patch and merge with yours if you can.

Also I noticed some cruftage crept in when I was merging back from mytarget branch so I'll send you a patch once the i2c guys have ack'd the driver.
