uClinux is built such combination: GDB/ARMulator, 2.6 kernel & uClibc.
In uclinux-dist/, I add a skyeye.conf file whose content is listed below
and then type "skyeye -e linux2.6.x/linux", the console displays message
until "Start addr is set to 0x01008000 by exec file". After this
sentence, the cursor stays here and no new messages are displayed.
Can you try again with the latest uClinux-dist-20100315?
That target works better - though not perfectly. The kernel seems to
boot mostly all the way up, and some parts of user space fail.
