Ironically 1.0.x is not, I have been trying to set up a
branches/1.0.x/gt directory to contain some of the geotools plugin work
we have been doing.
Normally you find this as a subclass of a GeoTools DataStore. I am
trying to set up our customizations in a format where we can roll
changes back into geotools with less fuss and bother. In particular I am
trying to WFS for GML2 and limited GML3 support.

I spent all day getting all the unit tests to work. As a result trunk
should be behaving must better. I think the drag and drop merge that
was supposed to take an afternoon is actually starting to behave itself.
