I do need some more information other then what you are providing me,
from what you have said I am not sure what the problem is.
I assume everything else works? Everything compiled, you are opening up
the udig.product and clicking on run product?
I wonder, what version of uDig are you using? Perhaps if you are using
Eclipse 3.1.1 we would need to update the some of our dependencies? I
was able to run the SDK release fine from Eclipse 3.1.1, when I start
today I will follow the quickstart like you did.

My error message is as follows: "launche failed because the
org.eclipse.osgi plug-in is not included in the configuration you are
launching". The jar file are included as a plugin dependency.

We are going to make another SDK release next week - apparently we had
to fill in a field indicating what the src directories were.
If you follow the regular quickstart (involving an svn checkout)
everything will work as advertised.
We have been unable to maintain out nightly builds since losing one of
our developers.
