Hi Matthias,
PLUGIN INCLUDED IN LANGUAGE PACK
org.eclipse.ant.core.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.core.commands.nl1 (RCP+Platform)
org.eclipse.core.expressions.nl1 (RCP+Platform)
org.eclipse.core.resources.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.core.runtime.compatibility.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.core.runtime.nl1 (RCP+Platform)
org.eclipse.core.variables.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.help.appserver.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.help.base.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.help.nl1 (RCP/Platform)
org.eclipse.help.ui.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.help.webapp.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.jface.nl1 (RCP+Platform)
org.eclipse.jface.text.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.osgi.nl1 (RCP+Platform)
org.eclipse.swt.nl1 (RCP+Platform)
org.eclipse.text.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.tomcat.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.ui.forms.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.ui.ide.nl1 (Platform) - We are an IDE??? ;-)
org.eclipse.ui.intro.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.ui.nl1 (RCP+Platform)
org.eclipse.ui.views.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.ui.workbench.nl1 (RCP+Platform)
org.eclipse.update.configurator.nl1 (RCP+Platform)
org.eclipse.update.core.nl1 (Platform)
org.eclipse.update.ui.nl1 (Platform)
As you can see from above list, all our required plugins are in the Eclipse
platform language pack, whereas the RCP language pack is not at all sufficient
If you can and are allowed to, you should exclude the large user documentation
plugin from the release, since it does't appear in the uDig help anyway.
-org.eclipse.platform.doc.user.nl1_3.1.1 (16MB!!!)
(... compared with the 2 MB of all other nl plugins).
Ok, after removing org.eclipse.plaform.doc.user, the size is quite
reasonable (only +1.5MB to extras.zip in the last week)...
For the moment i've only added update.* and help.* from the above
list... I don't see anything which is not translated at the moment -- if
we find anything untranslated, then we can add more of the eclipse nl1
plugins to the language-features, but i'm not convinced that we need the
others.
I gave up on breaking up the language files...
a) the size difference is negligible
b) everything is nicely packaged as it is, and it would probably just
break it
I believe Richard is adding your translations to uDig... so we're rather
close :)
Cheers,
Cory.
