My personal opinion is that the property pages (or preference pages) used in
uDig 1.1 for the styling dialog are the better choice. My reasoning is:
1. Since they are in a dialog they have lots of space, which is needed to style
using classifications. Or see ColorBrewer for example. This wouldn't fit well
into a view, except maybe if using a FastView.
Agreed but I was talking about something different.
I was refering to the StyleView (not the style dialog), it has an
extension point called style configurator that is a bit of a pain, if
several style
configurators are available at once you can switch between them using a
drop down list. they have done the same thing with tabs.
