Hi,
given the size of uDig (both disk and memory wise), I'm wondering
why you don't
use the hsql CRS provider instead of the wkt one. It's more accurate
and complete...
a) lack of time
b) lack of trust
The trust issue is based on two things, it installs something

Hum... wouldn' it be possible to install the database files into an
uDig plugin
in a permanent way? Easy and clean, no?
Agreed, expect I think the problem is that the database cannot be
located inside a jar, hence the current practice of unpacking it in a user
temp folder.
I have not looked into this for at least 6 months so perhaps our
understanding of plug-ins has improved to the point where this is possible.
