Hi everyone, I'm new to uDig but not to Eclipse or GIS. I want to build a translator which will pick attributes and posiitons out of a seismic navigation file and make a shapefile (multipoint Z, many attributes).
Is the dataWizards extension point the best place to put this? And where can I find the source code for the existing wizards, so I can get a handle on what I'm doing? I have successfully downloaded the latest SDK and built the distanceTool - very straightforward thanks. If I can get this to work I would like to build a more generalized translator which I'd then submit to the community.
