Hi,
I will track down an older version of the tutorial. The tutorial
has recently been changed to work with the new uDig 1.1.x branch of
development. You can get the SDK at
http://udig.refractions.net/nightly/uDig/latest/
The standard functionality is quite stable at this point. It is
mainly the editing tools that are not complete yet that is holding it
back from being released as a stable release.
