Good In that case I have code that will greatly improve the situation. I will put it up for download later today with instructions on how to install it (for those that are too impatient to wait for the next release next week).

Hi Bart I just thought of a question with regards to this issue. What *exactly* is your work flow here.

Select a geometry, move a vertex, double click, then commit?

or

Select a geometry, move a vertex, commit?

I have done some research with 1.1.RC1 and if I do the first workflow the double click takes a VERY long time (that is the bug I'm working on and have a patch made) but if I do the second workflow the commit takes a very long time because it actually combines the double-click action and the commit action together.

Hi list,

what action does uDIG perform after a WFS transaction (i.e. Update)?

We are trying to modify a feature and it works great, but after committing
the transaction uDIG takes almost a few minutes to come back.

It seems like it is doing a client-side intersection between the old and the new situation to show the changed part of the geometry in a different
color. Is this correct?

Best regards,
Bart
