Hi Bart

Thanks for trying out the preliminary release :-). We've taken a look at the issues you've raised:

1. Issue with scale. We tested this out and verified that we can reproduce the problem. I don't believe it will take very much work to fix and we will make sure it is done for the next release. I think a JIRA has been made for it. I'll make sure tomorrow. 2. Wait cursor never ending. Fixed this. It was a strange but simple issue to fix. This fix is part of the new 1.1-RC2 release. 3. The edit geometry cannot operate on the current layer message issue. I have seen this happen before but it happens rarely and I have not yet been able to find a way to reliably reproduce this problem. I have some ideas on how to fix it but I don't want to start hacking until I can find a more reliable way to cause it to occur. If you are able to find a way to make it occur please let me know how and I will be able to fix it quicker. 4. Refresh problems... I wasn't able to reproduce this problem. Editing was working fine (more or less) The main known issue is that you can only add a single feature per transaction. But I'm working on that issue and will have it fixed shortly.

Cheers,

JesseƎ

Hi guys,

I've done a quick test but have run into an issue with the scale, the
scale field displays a totally off value for EPSG:28992. This used to be okay in RC1 (1:6.504.520.376 whereas it should be around 1:100.000 for my
map view).

Also, after adding a WFS layer, the wait cursor does not seem to disappear
when I hover over the Layers view.

For WFS editing I now get: "Edit geometry cannot operate on the current layer" so now I cannot even edit WFS. But, after a restart of uDIG this
seems to work again.

After committing an edit uDIG now only shows the edited polygon, and not the rest of the WFS layer in the map view. After a pan it is rendered. The
commit is fast now though.

Best regards,
Bart

Hi list,

We've kicked out a release today (RC2) and given it some preliminary
testing.

several
other fixes too. For further details, please see the changelog:
