Set CRS for Layers with Unknown CRS

Some layers have unknown CRS and the warning message even suggests that people
"Set the crs" which implies there is some way to do it in uDig. There should
be! For some feature types (PostGIS, Oracle) it might be too problematic to do
this automagically through the UI. But for shapefiles and other file-based
data sources at least it should be possible to write a .prj file down that
gives the CRS. Perhaps just a simple Either "Set Layer CRS to Map CRS"
