Paste feature to map editor does not work as expected

Select a feature using edit tool
copy
paste.
nothing will happen.
2 things need to be done:
1. Create drop actions so this will work
- a drop action needs to be made to drop features onto a map
- a drop action onto an adaptable feature? maybe so that you can drop to
the map the adaptable feature is in... Hard to say. maybe map is good enough
2. if the copy was done using mouse new copy should be at new location.
