Hi Jack,

Hi, you can check into the OWS-3 work (located in the community
section, and in the wiki space) to see how we made use of DACS based
security (which involved including a cookie in the requests).
To elaborate a little:
OWS-3 Code:
http://svn.geotools.org/udig/branches/ows3/community/ows3/plugins/
OWS-3 Wiki:
http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/OWS3/Home
I have a question simply about how to enable cookie in sending WFS
request from uDig. I have built a simple WFS using the Geotools, and
I wish to use HTTP cookie to distinguish requests from different
users. As I'm using the uDig as my client UI, I need it to enable
cookie set in its WFS request. Anyone knows how to achieve this
please point me a direction, 'cause I have searched on the web with
no one has mentioned about this kind of issues. Thanks.
I see some cookie-related DACS code here:
http://svn.geotools.org/udig/branches/ows3/community/ows3/plugins/net.refractions.udig.dacs/src/com/fedroot/http/sun/
Porting this plugin from the ows3 branch onto trunk might be part of the
solution to your problem, but in its current state it likely won't
support cookies for non-DACS use (however, the building blocks are there
-- and at the very least it gives some hints).
Cheers,
Cory.
