Hi Gabriel,
I was able to use the update manager to move up to Eclipse 3.2.1 with
little pain. In getting uDig back on its feet again I did run into the
following a couple of problems.
The following plug-ins had errors:
plugins\net.refractions.udig.catalog.tests.ui\META-INF\MANIFEST.MF
plugins\net.refractions.udig.catalog.tests\META-INF\MANIFEST.MF
Their MANIFEST was trying to export out packages that did not contain
classes.
For udig.catalog.tests.ui:
net.refractions.udig.catalog.tests.internal.ui,
net.refractions.udig.catalog.tests.ui,
For udig.catalog.tests:
net,
net.refractions,
net.refractions.udig,
net.refractions.udig.catalog,
net.refractions.udig.catalog.tests,
For some reason nobody else has reported these as problems? I had a cold
hard compile error ...
Jody
doing a fresh build with 3.2.1 and project quickstart lends to a bunch of
compile errors due to class ViewerDropLocation not being found.
Svn updated at rev 21735.
Is it a missed commit or is it me missing something?
cheers,
Gabriel

Hey folks,
Eclipse 3.2.1 was released today, and since we've been anxiously waiting
for the fixes it contains we have switched over :)
The project quickstart has been updated, and new extras packs are
available:
http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/UDIG/Project+Quickstart
As a bonus, we've also updated the jre (optional download) for eclipse,
which includes jai/imageio, to the latest versions (jre1.5.0_08 and
jai-1.1.3).
Please let us know if you encounter any problems.
Cheers,
Cory.
