Hi,
I'm quickly grabbing all the files that you need to translate for
step 1. I will post the files and email the list the link. If you
have time doing a quick translation would be great. Translating the
help pages would be great too but it is quite a large job so we can
start with just translating the User Interface. I should be done
this little job in a few minutes.

We currently don't have an Italian translation, but would be very
happy to see one added.
There are 2 steps to adding a translation:
1. The user-interface (uDig itself)
2. The help pages

If anyone is willing to spend some time translating, we would
ensure that the changes get into the repository very quickly and
included in the next release.
