Hey all, This bug should be closed as it doesn't tell us anything we don't already know. There are several efforts underway to add analytic functionality in uDig. Right now we are at the stage of evaluating each of the workflows and understanding how each will work. We then hope to see how we can work together to re-use the different functionality.
Almost all the work will go into the community directory (next to the trunk/ directory with the official uDig code). However there is a long way to go before we get a good handle on the flow of work into and out of uDig. The hard part, really, is doing the first of each analysis. After that, making buttons to connect up one more statistical routine or adding a user's special computational geometry algorithm will be easy. Anyhow, this is all being worked on. If you have time and energy, come play with us. cheers, adrian On Thu, 2007-04-26 at 17:21 +0200, Juan Marín Otero wrote: > Oh I'd love to hear that.
