Hi all, I've been working and playing with Udig RC11a for last 4-5 days and got some problems/questions 1) I was reading this tutorial http://udig.refractions.net/docs/uDigWalkthrough2.pdf that describes how to configure Udig and geoserver. I found that sometimes creation of a new layer doesnt work, I click "Create" and layer is not there, it is simply not visible. I create another one and bang! all of a sudden udig shows me both of them. I also had a problem with coping features (roads and lakes for example) from one layer to another, I click on paste but nothing happens . I downloaded and install version RC8 and found out that all those problems gone and I can create layers and copy/paste features without any problems. Also with version RC11a i had troubles drawing features and committing them to the geo server. 2) I found the following thread in udig mailing list "Help with simple plugin". As an exercise I would like to do something simular, ie.
1) create a map 2) create a layer in that map 3) add features with certain attributes 4) show/display the layer with all the added features 5) change the attributes of the features and see it reflected on the screen Is there any tutorial or plugin that can help me to archive this task? 3) Another task - I want to create a layer with some set of attributes. One of those attributes must be enumeration, i.e WeekDay - [Mon, Thu, Wed... Sat, Sun]. I also want to extend default feature editor so when I edit layer details this editor would show me drop down list with enum values. Any ideas or directions :) ? Thanks Alex
