The "Custom Application Tutorial" is on this very subject; we have needed help with feedback however:

The "Grand Idea" for our docs is to have a progression of tutorials that cover:

1. Setting up your Eclipse w/ uDig SDK:

2. Creating a new tool using your own plugin
- http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/DEV/3+Plugin+Tutorial

3. Package up the result as your own application
- http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/DEV/5+Custom+Application+Tutorial
- help! we need feedback here...

4. Contribute your plugin to uDig svn and get it included on the update site
- not written

Cheers,
Jody
Hello

I have download and setup Eclipse using the SDK as per
http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/DEV/0+SDK+Quickstart

On disk I have the following directory structure:

\UDIG\
          Eclipse
          UDIG_SDK
          Workspace

Currently I am running my application from within Eclipse. I would like to
bundle it all up into a standalone exe. Please can anyone help explain how
to do this. I presume this must be similar to the process of creating the
release version exe's

Thanks
Andy
