Select tool, and DefaultFeature editor also are unable to locate the "new" features. When working we "new" features you are sometimes able to "clobber" existing work (when drawing more than one line). This is more than just a refresh problem - the features are missing from the table view (even after switching between layers to force the table view to refresh and notice the new features).

Action: none - we will document performing a commit in walkthrough 2 for now.

Covered this one yesterday ...
1. Switch to a shapefile with multi line string (like an export of Taz Roads)
2. Grab the create line tool
3. Draw a road
(when drawing it says nothing about adding a vertex, pressing Enter or otherwise - hole cutter was more helpful)
4. Press Enter to finish the road
5. Pressing refresh, zooming or anything else does not show your new road. Switching between layers while the create line tool is still around shows that it is "remembered some how"
6. Table view shows a new feature called "new"

When you comit
7. New is replaced with a real feature id
8. Your new road shows up and acts as normal
