Hello,
 
i want udig to show in the map view a concrete bbox, i mean, the map view shows 
a concrete part of the world.
 
The layers i have loaded are showing only the concrete part that i want and 
that is fine, but if a load other layer with contents all over the world the 
map view zooms out to a world view because the layer has contents all over the 
world, that is the reason i think...
 
I want to modify Map properties, if its possible i prefer Map Bounds because i 
think setting this one then the map view would show the same part of the world. 
Then if i load a layer of the entire world it will still showing th same bbox, 
that is right??
 
If not or if it can't be possible i think i can change the other one property 
of the map, i mean Viewport Bounds but i dont know if i have to modify it each 
time i load a layer larger than the area i want udig to show...
 
I have been reading about Viewport Bounds. I have seen that with Map object i 
can do .setViewportModelInternal(ViewportModel) i don't know if it is the 
proper way to do it, but also i don't know how to get a viewportmodel with the 
bbox (coordinates) that i want to use, so if someone can tell me how to get to 
a viewportmodel with my own cordinates set it will be a great help.
