Hi all,
two weeks are missing to the delivery of the software used at the Cape
Town conference.
We (JGrass) have to jump off the trunk train and get back on the
stable version for the CT workshop.
It is a very suffered decision, since we already invested much time in
porting all of JGrass to trunc and develop many new tools on it, which
we now have to backport.
But honestly we feel that it is not feasible to get there with an
enough functional version of trunc udig.

I will be on several meetings around in Europe next week. Tthe bugs we
find seem to multiply theirself (also some are difficult to
reproduce). We can't pretend from anyone to bugfix things with our
schedule needs. At the moment, even if many seem to develop on udig
trunc, really few seem to use it in its complete application, which
hides several eveident usage problems that can lead a workshop to get
a horror event.

It is really a long time that we spent in migrating JGrass and now we
seem to be there, with many new powerfull tools and some delicacies.
We really need to be great at CT's workshop, in order to justify all
these months of hard work. :-)
Thanks for the given help up to now, I will do my best to keep trunc
also going on, but for now, we have to step back to 1.1.

I'll be in IRC for the next couple of hours for discussions.

Ciao,
Andrea
