Good to know about the build system! But that's not really what I was worried about... The problem is how to find a revision on trunk which is stable enough to build and which has passed at least a certain amount of sanity tests.

I have a build system where I just hit the button and apps and SDKs are built ready for distribution. This is new as of the last couple weeks so there isn't anything regular setup. Refractions is pretty busy so they haven't had time to set up the nightly builds but it is quite a simple system to setup. The system is in the repository and you are welcome to setup a build system your self if you would like. The build is at: trunk/extras/ headless and the README explains how to get it running. It is not complete but the part on how to set it up and get it running is. The rest is going to explain the architecture and how to use it to build other applications besides uDig.
