Testing on Julia's computer ...ensured previous udig installers were
removed; including udig folder in home directory
- online help is unavailable (shows HTTP 500 ) error; firefox is the
default browser on this machine and java has been let out by the
firewall. Turned off firewall to no effect; so it looks like online help
is just not starting...checked log (nothing useful). Tried making
internet explorer the default browser ... nothing.
- displays the basics in the data directory
- uDig 1.1 Discouvery Site listed; was able to add north arrow
Enough of that I am going to go see if I can check out -nl DE
