Just to ask :) Well, ... we have analyzed this problem, our idea is very very simple: add a view to present the parameters and one Preview (Observer) for monitoring the changes. This idea was implemented in the parallel tool (you could see it in our last release). This idea could be extended to other tools but our sponsors are happy with the parallel tool, so we have not budget to develop more extensions.
Our plan now is to develop trim, split, fill (existent tools) as spatial operation in order to provide a way to draw with precision. By example, fill, split and trim are good tools but the users need to draw with more precision the reference line.
