Hey Guy; the instructions you have are the instructions that are written. We have had a couple people succeed with the maven build script ... but the instructions asked me to install unix utilities on windows so I stopped and have not tried them myself.
Here are the instructions I use to make a release: - http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/ADMIN/SDK+Export+Procedure As you can see by the testing email; this process really depends about having eclipse set up right before you make the release :-P Can you let me know what documentation you found?
