PostGIS wizard table view needs a new column

Importing a PostGIS datastore, on the second page of the wizard I load the list
of tables. The resulting table does not provide the name of the geometry
column. It provides the option to select different geometry columns from the
same table, but if they are of the same type there is no means of telling them
apart. There should be a column included with the name of the geometry column.
