Lets focus on first getting you a eclipse folder set up correctly ... and the end of the day you should have: C:\java\eclipse\eclipse.exe C:\java\eclipse\dropins <-- a few things will be in here like resource bundle editor and findbugz C:\java\eclipse\features <-- normal eclipse 3.4.2 contents and rcp-delta pack contents C:\java\eclipse\plugins <-- normal eclipse 3.4.2 contents and rcp-delta pack contents
The rcp delta pack has support for the other operating system; so you can release a version of udig for each platform (windows; linux; mac osx, etc...). So I would like you to try: - eclipse 3.4.2 - extras 3.4.2b Right now there were two copies (and the instructions were not updated) since I was waiting for feedback on if extras 3.4.2b worked ... My understanding is that Andrea was able to get going from this environment; so we can now update the instructions. Aside: Now that you are on the email list we can go over a lot of the steps via email; occasionally we will use IRC as well (for when we need to do a debugging session or code review) Jody On Sat, Apr 25, 2009 at 9:17 PM, Tobias Sauerwein <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > I am having some problems setting up the SDK for the latest release > (1.2-M3).
