I think you want to make a style to control how the lines are drawn? You can make an expression for linesymbolizer stroke color setting that chooses the correct color based on one of the properties of your "tube" feature. Or you can set your style up with different rules (one for each kind of "tube") and and each rule can have its own complete set of line symbolizers saying how it should be drawn.
