Is the html file referenced from the live dvd? That is can users see it somehow? > Would you prefer a common quickstart or a special one for Denver?Later > wouldn't be my choose,we would have to change it every year... I would like a special one: - it is nice to say hi to the OSGeo live dvd and put in a bit of effort; it is also what Cameron uses as an example - It would be nice to use a WMS service on the live dvd - it is just an example after all
As for the walkthough 1; it is taking me ages to save out the images in a separate folder. the file size will be less.. - but it takes 2 min per image (paste into a paint program; save as a jpeg, add the picture as a linked file, adjust the scale to 60%) - normally it takes 10 seconds (paste the image, and adjust the scale to 60%) So here is my plan for the day: - upload a 1.2.2.html - it will take me another three hours to update the Walkthrough 1 -- I think I will make a single download of natural earth for uDig users as it takes too many clicks to hunt down the sample data - two hours for Walkthrough 2 (only checking and updating screen snaps for latest GeoServer) - export out online help (this is where I would like to know if your quickstart will be ready or not?). If you want I can remove the wiki page and you can just focus on the live dvd quickstart today? - upload 1.2.2 - write 1.2.2.html and announce release Jody > Frank > Am 09.07.2011 15:45 schrieb "Jody Garnett" <[email protected] > (mailto:[email protected])>: > > Hi Frank: > > > > The DM solutions server is back and working again; I notice you were > > changing over to the Atlas of Canada.
