Well, it was a good answer to my nasty question. :) I remember once I wanted to enable adf support and I think I did so. But I had to first go through creating the geotools counterpart for the reader in imageio-ext. Is that already taken care of? Is there a way to know which formats already have geotools readers? For those it should not be difficult to add the uDig file formats supprot.
