I am confused John - what page of the instructions ( http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/ADMIN/04+Java+Runtime+Environment )?
The instructions should say to download the right thing from here: - http://udig.refractions.net/files/downloads/jre/ I am not sure if there is a build of GDAL etc for win64 yet; there is however a win64 ire which can be used allowing you to work with more memory (and less file formats). If you want you can go through these steps to make a new download for everyone (they seem pretty win32 specific): - JRE for Windows (http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/ADMIN/JRE+for+Windows) -- Jody Garnett On Monday, 25 July 2011 at 11:21 AM, John Hudson wrote: > Hey guys, > > Working on udig again and found the developer instructions don’t deal with > Windows 64bit JRE too well. > > I added a note for 64 bit users to use the straight JRE 1.6 Win 64 zip for > the JRE and the gdal from the latest win32 bit zip, this works. > > > John Hudson > Developer > LISAsoft > > --------------------------------------------------- > Ph: +61 8 8425 8000 Fax: +61 8 8425 8099 Mob: +61 402 30 0415 > Level 1, 30 Currie St, Adelaide SA 5000 > --------------------------------------------------- > > LISAsoft is part of the A2end Group of Companies > http://www.lisasoft.com > http://www.terrapages.com > > > > The contents of this email are confidential and may be subject to legal or > professional privilege and copyright.
