Decidedly odd.... It looks correct to me and I have several client that are
using that technique so I know it works. Are there any tools in the drop-down?

Hi Andrea.

I don't manage to hide info button.
I've added a custom tollbar manager. It's loaded.

       @Override
       protected boolean filterTool(String categoryId, ToolProxy proxy,
                       Class<? extends ToolCategory> categoryType) {
               System.out.println("******* "+categoryId+ "
"+categoryId.equals("net.refractions.udig.tool.category.info"));

               boolean defaultInfoTool =
categoryId.equals("net.refractions.udig.tool.category.info");
               return defaultInfoTool;
       }

It logs "******* net.refractions.udig.tool.category.info true" and returns
true but the "i" button is still here...
I don't understand why. Could you tell me my mistake?
Thank you.

Hi. I will answer you by citing Jesse in a previous email:
"Look at the eu.udig.tutorials.tool-view tutorial. It shows how to
remove tools from the tool bar."
