Just a couple of notes... I tried to ask the tool interaction settings (ILayer.isApplicable and ILayer.setApplicable methods) to save between runs. Currently they are saved to the layer blackboard which is not persisted.
With that in mind I would like to add an ILayer.getProperties(): IBlackboard which is persisted (this involves a change to the EMF model so it needs to wait until I remember how to do EMF). -- Jody Garnett
