Hi Silvia. Thanks for testing; based on moovida's comment I am going to move 1.2.3 into the "snapshot" folder for now.
I have not checked any of those bugs; I am keeping track of the current state of testing/activity here (http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/UDIG/1.2.3). I will be writing up a RFC with respect to the axis tools this week (perhaps tomorrow thanks to your reminder).
