Current behavior:
If the user closes the application all modified resources will be saved. The
use can explicit save during a session but if the application crashes the
unsaved configured maps and projects are lost.
Let's add a global configuration/preference the user can change and can be
pre-configured from outside (config.ini) to set "Autosave" to true/false and
the EMF resources should consider the value.
In Eclipse is kind of automatically save in the workspace preferences page (see
Windows/Eclipse -> Preferences -> General -> Workspace).
