yes the problem is the same reported in issue 1786, sorry for doing an other issue but I checked
only the issues with the printing label...
Is there a way to solve it? at present there is no way to print something from
uDig...

Is the output similar to the attached images from issue UDIG-1786 ? The Export
functionality is based on the ApplicationGIS.draw() for image and pdf exports
so I assume these effects are the results of the same problem.
