Reviewing this with Paul currently. I think it is finally time to remove the deprecated ContextModel (who currently holds our "layer list"). Since we are going to replace this with a List<LegendItem> the timing is good to clean up this deprecated class.
Paul could I ask you to throw a class diagram at the RFC page so people are aware of the direction being taken. Even if you just use the EMF diagrammer thing when you are in the middle of refactoring. -- Jody Garnett
