Yes you can get it through the catalog. Resources are uniquely identified using
an ID - indeed we often place the ID as a static constant at the top of the
implementation.

You can look things up in the catalog using getById method. (for map graphics
they all show up in the catalog as a single service; with a resource for each
implementation available).

I will look for you on IRC and we can pull together a code example for the docs
:-)

Hi Guys,

I’m trying to add a map graphic to my current map, ive found that i can use the
ff:
· ApplicationGIS.addLayersToMap
· AddLayerCommand(layer)
To the add a resource or layer to a map.

My problem is where to get a handle of the map graphic. Can I get it though the
catalog? Also, how are the resources uniquely identified?

Thanks,
Naz
