xpp3 has been among the dependencies forever, there is nothing new going on in xml parsing land, some of us are just trying to harmonize dependencies (as we have mixed versions in GeoServer) and possibly use the _min version of xpp3 that does not duplicate classes already available in the jdk Cheers Andrea -- ------------------------------------------------------- Ing.
