I can confirm that Eclipse 3.7.2 from the command line build.

With that in mind I will go through the steps this afternoon and update the 
instructions. When the instructions are successful
we can email the rest of udig-devel to upgrade.

Relax :-)

One of the advantages of open source (and emailing the udig-devel list) - is 
safety in numbers. Getting other people to double check your work; or asking 
for help (and in this case testing). As an example; the command line build was 
working with Eclipse 3.7.2 - and I asked you for help testing it as a 
development environment.
