Thanks for the testing (and detailed feedback).

Please keep communication on udig-devel (as I am doing this as a volunteer; it
is helpful to keep communication in the open so others can help).

I was able to go through and:
- Update the SDK Quickstart to Eclipse 3.7.2
- Catch up with you on the Custom App tutorial (and fix the issues you
mentioned).

I am also stuck on the 'expected error' - problem was I was hoping using
Eclipse 3.7.2 would fix it :-)

I do actually have a slightly different error message then you.

C:\java\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.pde.core\temp\org.eclipse.pde.container.feature\package.org.eclipse.pde.container.feature.win32.win32.x86.xml:100:

Only trouble is … why would we need ant!

Here are the steps I used to find out who is at fault.

1. Went to custom.product and reviewed the features we want to have available
at runtime
2. First up is the feature org.eclipse.rcp --> double clicking opens the
details - and I can see that the list of plugins does not include ant
3. Next is the feature net.refractions.udig_base-feature -> and this one
includes ant!

Why? Well I am not sure - that is the mystery for the next email. I am sure it
is a mistake :-)
