This topic has been bounced across many mailing lists, I kind of suspect a "code sprint" or something with the live dvd crew is the only way to work through it. The number of cooks in the kitchen; and the delay as different people try solutions is making this one impossible to follow the discussion "tightly" as you put it Moovida.
Indeed I notice the members of the live dvd have fallen out of this particular email thread.
