Both these patches are now applied, the build worked locally for me (SDK is now 
263 MB - but includes everything).  

Uploading to udig-1.3.3-SNAPSHOT-sdk.zip 
(http://udig.refractions.net/files/downloads/branches/udig-1.3.3-SNAPSHOT-sdk.zip)
 .. says it will be done in 47 mins.
