Fair enough, OSGi has lots of plugin level security features in place (to keep 
code working only against its dependencies, and prevent code
reaching into the internals of plugins where possibly sensitive information is 
kept). I think eclipse even has a secured storage solution somewhere (allowing 
us to write down database passwords and so on in an encrypted location for each 
user).

Beer of course sounds fine, let us say that the risks online software are 
considerable. There should be less to check when auditing desktop software.
