I had read the help files and used this option, but it is
not faster, it still dramatically slows down when indexing
sites which have a bad connection.
I wondered if it figures out to create new threads when
needed, or if the number of threads running at the same
time is an option to set somewhere.

In the output :

Indexer[15408]: [1] http://onesite.org/log.html

Is 15408 the pid ? It doesn't change in my case.
It would be a good idea to display the thread on
each line to check it's really using several threads.
