I've got one large domain (my.domain) with many subdomains (one.my.domain,
two.my.domain) underneath it. I'm trying to index everything starting from
the main page. I can't put all the domains in the config file because there
are way too many. I've set the config file to follow outside, and when I
run indexer, I use the -u %my.domain% to catch all URL's in the domain. It
runs and fully indexes the main site, but when it branches off to index the
other sites, it's not very consistent. Some sites it indexes fully, others,
only some pages, and others only the start page.
I've tested some of these sites by trying to index them alone, and it works
fine; but when I try from the main site, it won't do it. I don't know if
there's something in the config file I'm missing or what.
We are using udmsearch 3.0.20 backended by Oracle 8i on a Dell PowerEdge
with 256MB RAM.
I would really appreciate any information or thoughts anyone might have.
