I have seen the recent mails and gave aspseek a try. But before I go any
further I need to find an answer to some questions.

1. Did mnogo community knew before about ASPseek?
2. Although they have been *inspired* from mnogo, the code is OO C++ not C
3. However the meat surrounding the different skeleton is more or less the
same.
4. There are some few killer features (and seems to be elegantly
implemented)
    -Pagerank (like google)
-Cached storage of URLS (like google)
-Phrase search (actually seems to be implemented like google refering to
Standford univ. paper dated 98)
5. Did any of the mnogo authors knew about ASPseek before?

I like udm because I always believed a fine tuned (My)SQL server is really
appropriate for search engine index storage, from previous experience. On
the other hand a search engine is not a *full* search engine without phrase
search, and a ranking system. I'm sure most of udm users do use google for
their daily activities, and there is no magic behind it. It's published,
printed and readily available, even the data stuructures. I really love to
see pagerank and phrase search in a SQL'ed search engine, but I dont really
feel like contributing to a software where there is no community supporting
it. I even felt weird when I had to give my email address to downlaod the
code?

Bottom line:
I would like to see pagerank and phrase search implemented in mnogo too,
which is much superior to aspseek just because there is a community behind
it.
