Hi Guys,
I finished playing with udmsearch in basic features. I am now on the search side of
the tool.
I discovered that udmsearch is providing the MIME Type of the indexed object.
It means that a parser must be declared for each MIME type.
I suggest an enhancement: Indexer gets back the MIME type by any mean (first line of
stdout with typical Content-Type: mime fields for example), so that parser determining
weird MIME types can provide this information to indexer.
If first line is not ^Content-Type: MIME/Type for example, First line is considered as
part of text and then indexed.
Opinions welcome
